The Digital War: Into the Void (Part One) (Collab)

--------------Shermy and Sekimon’s Trek up Infinity Mountain---------
"Tee, I wonder what you are after Digivolving with the DigiEgg of Miracles." Shermy said, looking at his Digimon half.
"Don't imagine a green-skinned Magnamon, because it is not." Sekimon retorted, looking back.

The two were scaling Infinity Mountain, on the way to fighting MagnaKimeramon. The two had joined Eirik's group mainly because of the Miracles DigiEgg, although they remembered what he said before they set off.
"Your security is counted and isn’t more or less important than our goals, so stay safe! Me and Fenny will make sure of keeping you all under our wings."

Near the top, they could see their target in the distance. The fighting had already started, with others already engaging MagnaKimeramon. Mons of all levels Rookie and up were doing whatever they could to bring that guy down.

"Guess it's time to join the party!" Shermy exclaimed. "Ready,Tee?"
"You couldn't have asked earlier!" Sekimon eagerly replied.
"Digivolution...activate!" Shermy yelled.
"Sekimon Digivolve to..."Sekimon said as he got covered up in data.
"...Helldramon!" Helldramon exclaimed as he emerged from the egg-shaped data that covered his previous form.
"Hop on."Helldramon said while looking at Shermy.
"Hup!" Shermy mounted Helldramon. "Alright, let's get a better look at our enemy!"
With that, Helldramon took off and the two were up in the air, zeroing in on their target. They circled MagnaKimeramon a few times, with Helldramon giving a few attacks of his own while flying in circles.

The two saw the WarGreymon arm being raised, and started flying larger rounds. They looked in horror as the Tera Blast knocked out some of the fighting force, and blasted a chunk of the peak of the mountain off. Shermy had a gut feeling that this was bad news when there were stragglers still making their way up, and the blast was towards their general direction. He then heard a loud scream coming from the direction where people were coming…
----------------Tina and Shibimon’s trek up Infinity Mountain---------------
Tina and Shibimon were going up Infinity Mountain to help Erik and the others as much as they possibly can after she received his e-mail

Alright, listen up! Since we have two foes in two completely different areas, we have to split in two groups. I’ll lead my group to the Infinity Mountain, and Fritz will march to the Colosseum. Whom will you choose is up to you. We’ll get this job done nevertheless and finally bring back the Digidestined once and for all. However, your security is counted and isn’t more or less important than our goals, so stay safe! Me and Fenny will make sure of keeping you all under our wings.

"I really hope that we could be of some help Shibimon. I...I just don't understand why you haven't been able to digivolve with our light shard..."

"Don't worry Tina. Like you've always said, everything happens for a reason. So when the time comes I'll digivolve into a beautiful digimon. Not to mention powerful," Shibimon said with a grin on her face as she flew by Tina's side.

That's when Tina realized that the battle with MagnaKimeramon was escalating to a ferocious fight when they reached the top of the mountain.

"Let's hurry! It looks like the others are having trouble!"

Both Tina and Shibimon rushed to assist the others, and tried to help as much as they could.

"Arrow slash!" Shibimon said as she and the other rookie digimons tried their best to do some harm to MagnaKimeramon. But it was useless. "Aero slap!"

Her attack hit MagnaKimeramon in the face. It didn't do any harm at all, but it sure got his attention.

"Uh-oh..." Tina said as he directed his next attack towards their direction.

He used his Tera Blast attack and as he increased the circle's radius, it caused a crack on the ground breaking it just were Tina, Shibimon, and the other tamers were standing. Most were rescued by their digimons who digivolved to champion level, but being that Shibimon couldn't digivolve there was no way for her to save Tina.

"TINA!!" Shibimon yelled as she saw her best friend falling and trying to catch up to her.

Tina fell down the mountain very fast and as she looked at Shibimon's desperate face, she began to cry because she knew that her best friend felt so hopeless and useless.
----------Cut back to battle-----------
"Over there!" Shermy shouted while pointing at two small figures that seemed to fall together.
"Right!" Helldramon replied as he darted towards the two.

After catching up with the two, he used his long body to catch the falling girl, saving her from death by height. Just as she was almost halfway down the mountain, Tina felt that someone or something had caught her. it was Helldramon and she looked at him not believing it what she was seeing.

"Are you okay there?" Shermy asked the girl behind him.
"That was close." Helldramon interjected.
The girl's partner gave a look of relief knowing that her partner was safe.
Tina stood on the ground shaking a bit. "Tina!!" Shibimon said as she hugged her with all her might. "Oh I'm so happy that your safe. I'm so sorry to be such a worthless partner..."

"Please don't say that Shibimon! You're the best partner that I could ever ask for," Tina said crying. Then she turned to Shermy and Helldramon and bowed. "Thank you for saving my life. I am indebted to you."

"Yes! Thank you for saving Tina. I'm also indebted to you, " Shibimon said as she hugged Helldramon and Shermy.
"Both of you should stay with us in the meantime."Shermy said. "It's dangerous out here."
"And in the event anything happens to you,"Helldramon continued," at least you have someone to help you fight."
"I guess we should get back in there."Shermy said. "We are here to help take him down, after all..." He pointed to the big boss that was MagnaKimeramon.
"But how do we actually get a scratch on him?" Helldramon asked. "Right now we don't have a strategy at all!"
"Hm..."Shermy wondered aloud, arms crossed.
"Now we must think of something to try and at least knock down MagnaKimeramon," Tina said with her arms crossed after she realized that moping won't get her anywhere. "I'm pretty sure that he must have at least one weak spot. And I think that it's from behind. He seems to be more quick in attacking the others, when it's a frontal attack. What do you think Shermy?"
"You do have a point."Shermy replied while looking at MagnaKimeramon. "It seems like all of his attacks are directed towards the front."
"But how are we going to hit his back when his frontal defence is very strong?" Helldramon asked. "Be it above or to the side, his attacks woud hit us one way or another!"
"My suggestion involves baiting,"Shermy replied,"so..."
Turning to Tina, he asked,"are you willing to let MagnaKimeramon direct an attack towards Shibimon (him/her?)? Just before MagnaKimeramon unleashes the attack, Helldramon swoops in and brings Shibimon out of the line of attack, getting all of us to his back. How does that sound?"
Tina looked at Shibimon, and Shibimon looked right back at her knowing exactly what she was thinking.

"Let's do it Tina. I'm willing to take that risk if you want me too. Who knows maybe I'll finally be able to digivolve!" Shibimon said excited. "Besides Helldramon will take me out, before MagnaKimeramon hits me with his attack."

"Are...Are you sure Shibimon?" Tina said scared not wanting to lose her best friend.

"Yes," Shibimon said with a smile. "I will be fine right Helldramon?"
"This guy can fly quite fast,"Shermy replied, patting Helldramon, "and we can tell when MagnaKimeramon wants to attack through his body language. We are not dealing with a completely unpredictable monster."
"Don't worry," Helldramon reassured,"you can count on me!"
"See Tina there's nothing to worry about! So are you up for it?"

Tina thought about and decided not to be a coward.

"Yes let's do it!" She said more excited now, and then turned to Shermy and Helldramon. "I entrust Shibimon's life to you. Please don't let any harm come to her."
"We'll bring her out of harm's way even if it means we are the ones to get hurt."Shermy said to Tina."Let's get on with it."
The two humans and Shibimon got on Helldramon and flew towards MagnaKimeramon. After getting close to it, Shermy dorected Shibimon to get in place.
"Ready Shibimon?"
"Ready!" Shibimon said as she flew in front of MagnaKimeramon. "Hey big bully look over here!"

MagnaKimeramon looked at her.

"That's it! Aero slap!"

Like before Shibimon's attack dis no harm to MagnaKimeramon. It rather got him really mad and direct his attack towards her.

"Brace yourself Shibimon! " Tina said. ‘I truly hope that this plan works…’she thought.
Just as MagnaKimeramon was about to unleash a Multiforce attack, Helldramon flew in from below and snagged Shibimon out of the line of attack before MagnaKimeramon unleashed his attack. Alas, MagnaKimeramon followed Helldramon and fired the attack towards the back of Helldramon.

"EVADE!!!" Shermy yelled, looking back at the beam speeding towards them.

Helldramon dived for the ground, going parallel to the ground just before hitting the ground. The attack hit the ground, causing an explosion and the ground it hit got charred. Looking at the damage, Shermy thought he saw two shines.

"Turn back,"Shermy requested to Helldramon, "I want to see what is on the ground over there."

Just as MagnaKimeramon was busy with the others, Helldramon flew back to the impact site. There, Shermy confirmed what he thought he saw. He looked at Helldramon, smiled, and said to Tina and Shibimon, "The fight has just begun."

On the ground were two differently coloured shards. One was the purple-coloured Knowledge Shard, the other was the pink-coloured Light Shard.
Both Tina and Shibimon looked at Shermy puzzled. But then they saw the two shards.

"Tina you don't think...?"

"I...I.think that's our shard of light!" Tina said excited. She went towards it not letting MagnaKimeramon see her and picked up the shard. As soon as she had it in her hands, Tina felt an immense warmth inside and both her digivice and Shibimon began to glow bright pink.

"Tina I can feel it! It's finally time for me to...digivolve! Shibimon digivolve to...Zukimon!"

Those that were near them stopped fighting to see what was going on, and where that beautiful pink light was coming from. Zukimon was in midair. She had a more human feature, but still resembled her rookie level. Zukimon now had four wings, and her tail was much longer. She also had the shard of light symbol as a marking on her forehead. Whenever she uses her abilities it will glow pink.

"You're so beautiful Zukimon! I can't believe that it finally happened!" Tina said with joyful tears in her eyes.

"Didn't I tell you that I was going to be beautiful? " Zukimon said with a grin. "Now it's time to bring this bad boy down.
Heavenly Shower!"

Zukimon summoned rays of light from the sky and they hit MagnaKimeramon.
Picking up his shard, Shermy turned to Helldramon and asked, "Are you ready to show your Mega form?"
"Couldn't be more ready!" Helldramon replied.

"Digivolution…Activate!"Shermy exclaimed as he touched his phone with the shard.
"Helldramon Digivolve to…"Helldramon said as he is 'engulfed' in data taking the shape of an egg.
"Shinshimon!" Shinshimon exclaimed as he appeared from the data.

"Alright, Shinshimon!"Shermy said to the new form of his partner. "Let's give it our all!"

"TENACITY PUNCH!" Shinshimon shouted as he used the shield on his right forearm to hit MagnaKimeramon.

The battle against MagnaKimeramon raged on…
