He has a rather cynical and pessimistic worldview, but still has a tinge of faith in humanity. He opens up usually when the other side does it first.
He gained his cynicism and pessimism from two places; his former school’s social climate, and a reading of George Orwell’s Animal Farm. While he did have friends, in the friends hierarchy, he would often be the first to go(i.e. ‘disown on situation’). ‘Friends’ he did have. Not so much for true friends.

History:
His father had to move to Japan, as his company wanted to station him there. The transition was quite rocky, but he managed to fit in. Being of Chinese descent, Shermy was able to adapt to the Japanese language and culture.

Shermy met Sekimon when he was 15. He was on the way to seeing his father after he received a text message from 'his father' to see him. When he entered the train station(back home at that time),he entered a distortion field and entered the Digital World. When he was transported to a forest,he was bewildered,and tried to look for a way out. While doing so,he met up with his partner Digimon,Sekimon. When his partner told him where he was,he could not help but to ask for a map so he could get out. Sekimon then revealed that it was he who 'sent' the 'text message'.

Relationship with younger sibling: As the older brother,he aims to set as best an example as possible.

Digimon Partner:
An ancient Dragon species that is a subspecies of V-mon,it is no wonder that Sekimon and some of his other forms bear some resemblance to V-mon and his other forms. Sekimon can be mischievious at times,but on the rare occasion. They can also chuck immature tantrums when not getting what they want, but it knows where the limits are. They prefer only to be hugged or cuddled in his younger forms. Sekimon will generally be kind to any new face, if ends in the result of being able to make a new friend.
